Introduction 學系介紹
The Department (PAM) founded in 1963, which is one of the first four professional departments in advanced study of the Chinese Culture University (PCCU), and it is also the first in Taiwan to cultivate administrative professionals.
In response to the innovation and refinement of modern public administration, as well as the rapid development of science and technology, the Department was restructured and transformed into a full-time university department in 1997, and now was affiliated to the School of Social Sciences.
Teaching Characteristics 教學特色
The Department’s curriculum is divided into two modules, “Public Service” and “Organization Management,” each of which develops its learning objectives - public service and administrative management - and complements each other.
The curriculum is integrated with the career, deeply engaged in the implementation of the University’s Social Responsibility plan and cooperated with the “Administrative Management Internship” and “Social Enterprise Internship” on the 3rd and 4th grade to implement and deepen the development characteristics of the Department of “Sustainable Governance, Social Practice and Public Participation.”

Personnel Administration, Administrative Law, Public Management, Local Government and Regional Governance, Introduction to Jurisprudence, Administrative and Managerial English, Introduction to Criminal Law, etc.
- Courses of Management:
Policy Analysis, Human Resources Management, Public Budgeting & Financial Management, Organizational Theory and Behavior, Introduction to Management, etc.

Apply to universities of domestic and abroad for public administration, politics, international affairs, mainland-China studies, Asia-Pacific and regional studies, etc.
- Future employment opportunities:
- Civil service exams for civil servants in general administration, general civil affairs, personnel administration, education administration, cultural administration, social administration, economic and construction administration, etc.; or special personnel such as land administration personnel, investigators, police personnel, judicial personnel, customs immigration personnel, etc.

Cooperation Project 實習與產學合作
The Department plans administrative internship courses and arranges senior grade students to do internships in more than 40 central and local public agencies and private companies to strengthen students’ employment and practical skills.
