Wen-Da Accounting, as a distinguished institution in Taiwan's accounting education striving for excellence, established its undergraduate program in 1974 and its master's program in 1995. Over the past nearly 50 years, it has produced more than 5,000 alumni, many of whom have achieved outstanding success and made significant contributions to various sectors of accounting and finance within the country. Our mission is to cultivate accounting professionals who possess both ethical integrity and the skills necessary to meet the needs of national development, societal dynamics, and industry demands.
We emphasize an educational approach that combines theory and practice, with a strong focus on professionalism, attitude, and ethics. Our vision for development is centered on "professionalism for the future, innovative applications, and employment advantages," and we are committed to nurturing professionals in the fields of intelligent accounting, auditing, and taxation, as well as interdisciplinary talents.
Students have the opportunity to participate in the "5-Year Integrated Bachelor's and Master's Program," which allows them to obtain both a bachelor's and a master's degree within five years.
To respond to the trends of big data, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things, we cultivate professionals in intelligent accounting, intelligent auditing, and intelligent taxation, as well as interdisciplinary talents. We offer courses related to Python and digital innovation.
We integrate theory and practice by inviting managing partners, senior accountants, and experts from international accounting firms, including EY, PwC, KPMG, BDO, and others, to give lectures and courses in our department. We also collaborate with accounting firms and companies to provide off-campus internship opportunities for students.
The curriculum is designed with a focus on developing students' "professional future, innovative application, and employment advantage," emphasizing the integration of theory and practice, as well as the equal importance of professionalism and ethics. The curriculum consists of three main pillars:
Promoting "Paid Off-Campus Internships for Students" (a 9-credit elective course, from winter break to the end of May). During the second semester of the senior year, students can undertake paid internships at accounting firms or companies, combining theory and practice to enhance their employment advantages.
