Introduction 學系介紹

The department offers undergraduate, master's, professional master's, and continuing education programs, with over 5,000 alumni. Senior undergraduate students may apply for early graduation or take master's courses during their studies to shorten the time required for completing a master's degree upon admission.

Dual Development Focus: Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Business Intelligence (BI). Students learn to apply AI and BI to business management and integrate knowledge across information systems.

Teaching Characteristics 教學特色

• Combination of Theory and Practice:
  Theoretical courses are paired with corresponding practical courses, incorporating AI into teaching and hands-on projects. Students are also arranged to visit and intern at major information industry companies in northern Taiwan.
• Capstone Courses:
  Students integrate knowledge and skills to develop information systems with practical value.
• Seamless Transition to the Workplace:
  Employment readiness is enhanced through industry-led courses, corporate internships, and short-term training workshops.

• Core Business and Management Courses:
  Introduction to Information Management, E-commerce, Business Management, Accounting, Statistics, Enterprise Resource Planning, and Marketing Information Systems.
• Core Information Technology Courses:
  AI-related courses, Cloud Platform Management Practices (Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS), Web and Program Design, Data Management Systems and Applications, System Analysis and Design, Visual Interface Design, and Information Security.
• Capstone Course:
  Information Systems Project Design.
