The Department of Banking and Finance at Chinese Cultural University offers degree programs to examine the principles of financing and investment decisions and their impact across a broad range of contemporary management concerns.

The program is structured to provide financial professionals with the knowledge and proficiency to create sophisticated solutions to financial problems, improve investment decision-making, develop strategic financial objectives, and seize new business opportunities.

The Department of Banking and Finance at Chinese Cultural University was established with the primary objective of studying contemporary finance-related theories and practices. Our goal is to foster the education and training of skilled finance professionals who will contribute significantly to the economic development of the country.

The department offers a robust academic system that includes daytime undergraduate courses in Banking & Finance, Financial Marketing, and Digital Finance. We also provide a Continuing Education Undergraduate Program, and a Master's in Science (M.S.) Program.

According to the curriculum planning of the Banking and Finance Program, students are expected to have a wide range of employment opportunities, which can be broadly divided into five categories specified in the following:

  1. Banking and Finance - banking industry (Bank Teller, Financial Planner), securities industry (Securities Specialist, Senior Securities Specialist, Financial Analysts, Futures Specialist, Securities Investment Trust and Consulting Professionals), insurance industry (Insurance Solicitor, Investment Link Product Specialist, Financial Planner).
  2. Investment Risk Management - Bank Lending Personnel, Financial Risk Management Personnel, Investment Trust and Consulting Professionals, R&D personnel for financial product, Insurance Audition Personnel, Financial Statement management and R&D consultants, and other job opportunities related to financial management in financial products and investments.
  3. Corporate accounting – Financial Managers, Accountants, and Corporate Investors.
  4. Further study – student may choose to apply for higher studies in finance, business management, and other related fields domestically and overseas.
  5. Public service - student may take Senior and Junior Examinations and Special Examinations, participating the public service in Taiwan.

Scholarships 獎學金

On-campus scholarships include the Huagang Scholarship, awarded to students ranking in the top three of their class; the Dr. Chang Chi-yun Memorial Scholarship, recognizing excellence in academics, arts, and leadership; and the Foreign Language Proficiency Scholarship, which encourages students to improve their language skills by rewarding high scores in proficiency exams. Graduate students can benefit from scholarships for academic excellence and research achievements, while the Legacy Scholarship, funded by alumni and external sponsors, provides additional support for outstanding or disadvantaged students.

Financial aid programs include assistance for students from low-income families, tuition reductions, emergency relief funds, and living stipends under the Secure Learning Project. The university also facilitates applications for external scholarships offered by local governments, foundations, and other organizations.
