Introduction 學系介紹

The Department of Chemistry and the Master Program of Applied Chemistry at Chinese Culture University were established in the 1960 and 1961 respectively. After graduation, the students went abroad for further study or served in the industry. They all performed outstandingly and established a good reputation for the department. The educational goal of department is to cultivate talents with sound personality and professional chemistry and professional chemistry teachers.

The teaching emphasizes both theory and application, and is characterized by diversified learning and cultivation of key and popular fields. In order to encourage outstanding students to continue to further study, the department has a 4+1 years bachelor/master's program in the Department of Chemistry.

1. Small-class experimental teaching: reduce dependence, cultivate independent experiment skills, and meet the needs of employment or further study.
2. Advanced instrument practical ability.
3. Including six main fields of chemistry: organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, biochemistry, materials chemistry.
4. Covering basic theoretical knowledge, logical thinking ability, experimental practice skills and cutting-edge application technology.
5. Adjust the direction of teaching and research in response to the progress and changes of the times.
