This department is currently the only textile engineering department in the country. It cultivates research, development and application talents in high-tech materials, functional fibers, functional textiles, design and marketing management required by the upstream, midstream and downstream textile industries. As part of our curriculum, all students are required to complete internships with leading companies during their time in the department. Our industry partners include Eclat Textile Co Ltd, Makalot Industrial Co Ltd, Li Peng Enterprise Co Ltd, and Singtex Industrial Co Ltd.

Upon graduation, our students have the option to pursue a master's degree in textile engineering or enter the workforce. There is a wealth of career opportunities available in the textile industry, with more than five different positions eagerly awaiting our graduates.
